Hi I'm Dr. D. I help my clients let go of the irrational belief that past trauma has to be apart of their now. I work with clients who want healing and wholeness now and our ready to begin the therapeutic work required the first session. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and my MS in Applied Psychology from Walden University and earned my MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I employ an integrative approach encompassing cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, narrative, and solution-focused modalities. My direct, no-nonsense approach to therapy is perfect for the individual who is ready to implement change during our first session. Some issues that my patients address are depression, anxiety, imposter syndrome, PTSD, relationship difficulties, sleep disturbance, body image, and substance use. I know that every client, who is willing, can choose their best quality of life. I look forward to helping you re-write your story of wellness and well-being.
