Alicia completed her Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in California. Alicia has over 17 years experience working with adults with disabilities to support individuals in becoming independent and develop a support system. Alicia became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as she believes there is power and healing in connection and relationships. Alicia employs a collaborative approach to provide individuals the support to process through life experiences and trauma. Alicia focuses on teaching clients mindfulness, grounding and other coping skills to regulate emotions and improve relationships with others. Alicia believes there is power and healing in connection and relationships. Alicia strives to provide a genuine, non-judgmental approach to make clients feel safe and heard. This allows clients to develop trust with another person, which ultimately leads them to grow and to believe and trust in themselves.
