I have been a Mental Health Therapist for the past 15 years. I have worked for several agencies in many diverse populations. I graduated from Oral Roberts University with my Master's degree in 2008. We have 4 kids. One of our daughters has Down Syndrome, which has helped us to learn more about compassion and empathy. I am currently working on getting a certificate in perinatal services. I also specialize in Anxiety, Depression and work with people who have experienced trauma & ADHD. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I pull from other models if they seem useful. I like to help my clients set their own goals and find ways to achieve them in sessions. I also listen to try to hear with the client is saying and pull out things during the session that may be something they are not aware of & help them think in new terms.

The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
