Alyson Marlow
Hello and welcome! My name is Alyson Marlow and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I specialize in OCD, trauma, and anxiety. I am a psych nerd at heart and bring this knowledge to my sessions. I love working with all ages but especially with teens, young adults and students. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy and like to weave together different modalities in my practice. I am unique in the way I am able to connect and use strategies outside of the box. I attribute this to my experiences living and working in developing countries. This priceless knowledge has allowed me to connect to cultures and stories of many backgrounds and places. I hold a safe container to deeply process and feel life as well as offer tools to regulate and cope. I am strength based and heart centered. From day one I like to hear what is the goal you are imagining to accomplish by the end of therapy. During our sessions together I will teach you mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic techniques so you can start to feel better. Most of my clients feel the difference in about a month of working with me and are able to make positive sustainable changes.
