
Amanda Neace
Amanda is a licensed professional counselor and nationally certified counselor with more than a decade of experience in mental health. Amanda earned a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling at Northwestern University where she developed a strong psychodynamic perspective and a keen understanding of the importance of our connection. Amanda has interests in adverse childhood experiences, family system dysfunction, traumatic stress, dissociative disorders, and postpartum mental health. Amanda approaches therapy from a person-centered and trauma informed approach. Therapy is only powerful when a strong therapeutic rapport is developed, and Amanda ensures there is room for this relationship to flourish by facilitating treatment that is unique and personalized. Amanda integrates psychodynamics, ego states, internal family systems, ACT, and EMDR to help her clients achieve healing from the roots up. Amanda carries certifications in clinical trauma. Clients can expect to take away concrete understanding of their experiences and how they have shaped them. Clients can expect to feel empowered and better able to be the main character in their story. Above all, clients can expect to feel valued, supported, and cared for despite bringing light to the dark things inside of them.
