For the past 15 years I have been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with experience working in telehealth and higher education. Specializing in anxiety, stress and depression management, women's issues, and relationships I offer a non-judgmental space that encourages open communication, reflection, and growth. By asking questions to help you dig deeper and gain insight into the life that you want to live, together we can create and work toward the baby steps that lead to big changes. There is no one size fits all for counseling. I rely on various empirically based strategies based on what works best for you. I will help you create your own "toolbox" of strategies that help you manage areas to increase overall wellbeing. Individuals I work with tend to set goals to reduce symptoms of anxiety, stress, and depression. Often times these symptoms impact daily living, home life, work life, and sleep. Goal-setting is a team effort but you take the lead. It is my goal for you to leave our session feeling heard, hopeful, and an excitement to experiment with new coping strategies.
