Hi, I'm Amanda. Thanks for visiting my profile. Whatever your reason is for being here is the right one. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor and I have 10+ years of experience. My intention is to help you explore what has made you think, act, and behave the way you do, and navigate how to make your patterns more productive for you. I want to help you to feel good in your most authentic self and be confident in yourself and your decisions. My approach will be specialized towards your needs, and geared towards taking what you've been through in your past and applying it towards self-understanding to help you in the present and future. When working with me, you will learn to look at yourself through all lenses. With the understanding that “no feeling is final,” we will explore how we can change the nature of your position. You’ll learn what’s contributed to the ways in which you love yourself and others- your outcome will reflect the many ways you can grow. We will meet regularly- we will laugh together (even when tears are also shed); I will hold a metaphorical mirror to you, as you come to therapy to learn and be challenged.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We only list providers where we have a contractual relationship with a network, group, or practice that a provider is a part of, or where we have a direct contractual relationship with the provider. That contract governs the terms of participation on the Psych Hub site, and in some cases, as mentioned below, the provider’s, group’s, or network’s use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
