Amber Baack
Hi! I am Amber (she/her/hers) and I specialize in working with adults, women, college, and graduate students navigating self-esteem, stress, identity, disconnection, and loss or transitions in life. I studied social work in college and graduate school and have worked in many different contexts throughout my profession including refugee resettlement, intensive outpatient mental health treatment, youth programming, wilderness guiding, and experiential programming. I utilize nature-based, somatic, and experiential therapy to support people in reconnecting and healing within themselves, with others, and with the world around them. I hold authenticity and curiosity as core values in my approach to therapy and I believe in being an active participant on our journey together. I am dedicated to approaching differences humbly and attentively and working towards dismantling oppressive and harmful systems, beliefs, and narratives.
