My journey into psychiatry is rooted in a deep curiosity about the human mind and its connection to overall health. I hold a BSc in Psychobiology with an emphasis in Neurosciences, an MPH, a BSc in Nursing, and a Masters in Nursing. Before psychiatry, I spent 5 years in pediatrics, 15 years in research, and 5 years in the intensive care unit. These experiences have given me a profound appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit and the intricate interplay between mind, body, and spirit. In my practice, I focus on treating the whole person. I take a collaborative approach to care, working alongside my patients to create personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs. My areas of expertise include psychoneuroimmunology and holistic care, emphasizing the deep connections between mental health, the immune system, and overall well-being. I have worked with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. I believe that every person has the capacity to heal and thrive, and would be honored to be part of that journey.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
