Ana Salazar
I am a Latina, an anti-racist Counselor, a mother, and mom to fur-babies. I am also proud to be a first generation college graduate, joining the 1% of Latinas in the United States to have a Ph.D. I have over ten years’ experience in providing therapy, crisis services, community mental health, college counseling, and suicide intervention training services. I focus my therapeutic work in three general areas of the counseling field: teaching, healing, and community wellness. I focus sessions on listening to you as a whole person including your cultural story, systemic oppressions, and how you can reengage with your personal cultural healing practices as YOU define them to be. Everyone deserves to be well and to draw on their unique cultural and personal strengths. My hope is we can work together to empower you to explore how systems have impacted your life and to lean into your strengths to navigate your own path towards resilience and success; whatever you define that to be.
