A clinician for over 30 years, I’m a warm, interactive highly qualified clinician with 2 Master’s degrees and extensive training in both traditional and complementary/holistic methods of treatment. Working virtually now, I see individual adults and small groups helping patients manage stress and anxiety through varied mindfulness techniques. Patients have found that adding this practice to their other forms of self help/therapy is most effective in managing symptoms and shortening treatment. I combine mindfulness and meditative techniques from various theoretical and spiritual sources teaching how to calm the nervous system when dysregulated and explain how the body and mind work together. Great for those with current stress due to COVID; those with severe anxiety (on or seeking to avoid medication); body relaxation exercises and breath control. In my small groups I offer specifics addressing the particular needs of the individuals in my groups. I also offer my Cd “Journey to Inner Peace... stress reduction and relaxation exercises”. This has sold hundreds of copies, I know many therapists utilize mindfulness in their sessions but I have been running groups ( small and large) for over 20 years creating and teaching various forms of mindfulness meditation and stress reduction programs for hospitals and wellness centers.
