Hi!! I'm Andrea and I have been in practice since 2018 and have served a variety of clients experiencing transitions in their lives. Currently, my practice is shifting to also assist individuals struggling with their experience of pleasure. I believe pleasure in all facets of life is a birthright and we can give ourselves permission to embrace it. I am sex-positive, kink, BDSM, ENM, and LGBTQ+ aligned and can't wait to work with you! I typically work with BIPOC people experiencing anxiety, depression, healing from past trauma, family issues, identity, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. As a solution-focused counselor, I believe we all know ourselves and what is "right" for us. We may just need some assistance with seeing the paths ahead or being reminded that we can trust ourselves. I also utilize CBT to help address unhelpful thinking and behaviors that may be an obstacle for you. Oh! and homework will be provided! Current clients call me "The Best Friend Therapist!" While the professional relationship is established, I create a comfortable environment to enhance our rapport. I work with you to find solutions, coping skills, and a plan to navigate this point in life. Counseling is hard. But, I'm here to help you become a better version of yourself. You will experience change if you are willing and open to the process. This is a safe space to be fully present with your stuff while being supported.
