I am a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong, diverse background in Special Education (including but not limited to students with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disturbances, and Intellectual Deficiencies), Pediatric Medical Social Work, Mental Health Case Management, Court-Room Advocacy for victims of various crimes, Clinical Supervision and Administration, and Mental Health Therapy. I believe that empowering clients to foster autonomy during therapy is fundamental. It has been my experience that there are two kinds of clients seeking therapy: those that have identified a problem or obstacle and seek help to resolve it, and those that recognize that something needs to be changed and seek help to identify the problem or obstacle. My job is to help facilitate both. My clients can expect to be in the driver's seat of their treatment. I encourage autonomy and act as a facilitator to help my clients identify and meet their treatment goals.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
