I am an LCSW, trained in trauma-informed treatment including EMDR. I help people who are coping with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and trauma. In my practice, I use CBT, EMDR, acceptance and commitment therapy, DBT, mindfulness, somatic awareness and emotional regulation. Therapy is about getting a better understanding of yourself, your behavior, feelings, motivations, and patterns. Being able to talk openly and honestly about feelings is the foundation of therapy. When you come to therapy, I want you to feel comfortable coming in just as you are. As your therapist, I will support, listen, and give you honest feedback in an emotionally safe space. I strive to provide a non-judgmental client-centered environment where you learn to be more aware of your behavior, feelings and thinking. Being more aware allows you to recognize the patterns which thread through your life, relationships, and self-fulfillment. The ultimate goal is often to feel better and be feel more authentic and peaceful in your life.
