I have been practicing as a Professional Counselor since 2008 (LPC 006503), following my Master’s Program at Georgia State University. In that time, it has been my great joy to work with women, men and adolescents working to find hope and relief amidst a variety of struggles, including: eating disorders and disordered eating substance use disorders and related struggles mood-based symptoms, including depression and anxiety trauma and trauma-based responses relationship issues In working with you, I’ll draw from several approaches, including my intensive training in DBT, CBT, CPT, &psychodynamic therapy. I have also completed level 1 training in EMDR, which may be appropriate to help you through painful memories and symptoms related to trauma. I have worked in residential, outpatient, and community-based settings, as well as in a hospital, prior to starting my private practice. As a result of our work together, you will find that you are able to connect with your values and find ways of coping and living that make you feel strong, filled with integrity, and more connected with yourself, others, and the world around you.
