Anne Vick
Hello! My name is Anne (she/hers). I'm a psychotherapist and creative arts therapist for clients in the NY area. My therapeutic style is receptive, inclusive and a bit of the box. I work primarily with clients seeking to address the challenges that come from anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions. Prior to work in private practice, I worked in non-profit agencies and hospitals with individuals across a broad demographic of ages and diagnoses. In my practice, I use a variety of interventions to meet your unique needs but I mainly work from a relational/integrative approach. This means I’ll help you find creative ways to examine your relationship not only to yourself but to life circumstances, systems and relationships with others that necessarily impact you. The goal is to make better sense of your own skills, build self-compassion, and engage with the world around you in ways that move and empower you. I like to work collaboratively and dynamically with you to create a supportive space where you can explore what has brought you to therapy. I look forward to working with you to provide tools to increase regulation and mindfulness, evidenced based practices for change/ diagnoses management and, most importantly, a curious perspective and commitment to acknowledging the absurd in pursuit of your own strength.
