April Graham
Hello. My name is April Graham and I am Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have been a LCMHC since 2018. I graduated from Howard University with a degree in History and Education. I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a degree in School Counseling. I also graduated in 2021, with a masters degree in General Psychology from GCU. I work with all types of clients, from children, adolescents, and adults. I utilize a number of approaches to therapy that include, CBT, positive psychology, trauma, mindfulness, and reality therapy. I tailor my approaches to the individual needs of clients in order to support them most effectively. I help client's identify the ways in which they can begin their journey of healing. The initial session will include asking about current mental health status, what you are presently doing to support yourself, and what you can begin to do to support yourself in a healthier way. Client's can expect coping skills to be provided and shared, but needs will be addressed on a case by case basis.
