Hello, I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in the state of Washington, specializing in mental health therapy. I received my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Pacific Lutheran University. I have been working in the mental health field since 2013. My approach to therapy is eclectic, meaning I use techniques from different therapy modalities in order to individualize my services for you. I often draw from modalities like Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Relational-Cultural Therapy, and more. My goal is to provide you with a safe space and an open ear. I believe that health and well-being includes connections to others and that we hold the key to our own healing. The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
