Change can be a difficult process, even scary at times, but it has the potential to be life changing. Maybe you’ve been feeling stuck, like you just can’t find enjoyment in the things you once loved, worries are overwhelming you, it’s overly difficult to maintain healthy relationships, or you are struggling to be successful at work. Whatever your reason is for reaching out for help, you deserve to feel validated, supported, and heard. Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes this is one of the most important factors in the therapeutic process. With over 11 years of experience, working with adults, Ashley offers a Holistic and Strength Based approach that pulls from various treatment modalities, such as: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Compassion Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Couple's Counseling. In the same way we are encouraged to take care of our physical bodies, it is equally important to practice mental and emotional self-care. Ashley is passionate about helping others heal from painful experiences, build self-esteem, cope with anxiety and depression, and rebuild strained relationships. Therapy is a journey that begins with you making the decision to put yourself first. Ashley can help you take steps towards better understanding and coping with the emotions or situations that are causing distress, while guiding you toward healing, finding relief, and achieving well-deserved fulfillment. She will always provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental environment as you begin your journey. When you are ready to take the first step, Ashley is here to walk beside you. "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" (Lao-Tzu). Ashley is LGBTQ+, Racial Justice, Body Positive, and Single Mother Allied.
