I recognize the impact poor sleep can have on one's life, and I am passionate about helping people getting better, more refreshing sleep. I take both a goal-oriented and solutions-focused approach while utilizing therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) that have strong evidence bases to be effective. At the same time, I firmly believe taking a collaborative approach to therapy is very important. I believe the patients are the experts on themselves so it is important their concerns are heard and the things that are important to them are incorporated into the therapy. Making changes to sleep habits can feel hard at times, but it is so rewarding once you start sleeping better. I work with my patients to develop a strong plan to work on each session, problem solve barriers, and answer all questions to ensure you are feeling confident.
