Hi there! I'm Ashley, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have experience treating various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, and perinatal mental healthcare treatment. I have been working in the mental health field for nine years. I started my career as an Associate degree registered nurse in geriatric psychiatry. Later, I completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Wilmington University. I have worked in the crisis and inpatient adult behavioral healthcare settings at my local community hospital, providing acute psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan. I then received a Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University. I am a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and the American Nurses Association. I currently work in an outpatient practice setting providing mental healthcare to adults (ages 18 to 65) with various mental health disorders. My approach to care focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings and experiences without judgment. I look forward to meeting you soon! *Clients who present with moderate to severe mental health symptoms at the time of intake will be formally evaluated and assessed for the need for a higher acuity level of care setting. If the client does not meet the appropriate safety level for continued care on the Grow Therapy Telehealth platform, they will be immediately referred to a higher acuity level of care setting for safe mental healthcare evaluation and treatment. * Currently I do not offer formal neuropsychological assessments or treatment management for ADHD for telehealth clients. Client must be formally evaluated in person. *Currently I do not prescribe controlled scheduled Stimulants or Benzodiazepines for virtual clients. *I'm currently accepting clients for both virtual and in-person booking options.
