Bertha Legra
I am a licensed mental health professional with 22 years of experience providing therapeutic services to diverse populations. Over the course of my career, I have worked with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, and have had the privilege of supporting a variety of communities, including the LGBTQ2S+ community. My professional background includes extensive work with veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those managing a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, gender and identity disorders, and addiction. Additionally, I have experience providing therapy for couples, addressing issues such as self-esteem, relationship dynamics, and domestic violence. I have also worked with individuals on the autism spectrum and provided court-appointed therapy. Throughout my career, I have maintained a commitment to providing compassionate, culturally competent, and client-centered care to individuals facing diverse challenges. I’m committed to offering empathy and understanding as we build a trusting relationship. Together, we’ll explore what feels most helpful for you and work at a pace that suits you. I’ll support you in hearing and understanding your own voice, helping you feel confident in making decisions that align with your values. Our work will create a compassionate space for reflection, growth, and self-determined well-being. Many clients have expressed a profound sense of relief after feeling genuinely understood during our sessions. They often share that the space I provide allows them to openly express their emotions, knowing they will be met with empathy and without judgment.
