I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas Tech University, and I have worked in treatment centers and psychiatric facilities addressing substance use and mental health concerns. I have worked with people suffering from ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Grief issues, Substance Use Disorder, Process Addictions, and Trauma issues. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Mindfulness approach to addressing mental health disorders.. I work from a fundamental basis of "Shared pain is half pain, and shared joy is double joy." I attempt to create a relaxing atmosphere in sessions to enable the client to feel at ease with sharing their issues. I empower the client to make the decisions necessary to attain the goals they set forth in therapy.
