My goal as a therapist is to use an individualized approach that is specific to each client’s needs and lifestyle. I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment so clients can feel safe being themselves, be inspired to achieve personal growth, and break free of unhealthy patterns. I use a combination of evidence-based approaches (supported by research) to help client’s reach their goals including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches. I work best with clients challenged by depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, anger management, family issues, relationship issues, life transitions (job, marriage, divorce, children, etc), and acute stress. During the intake assessment I would like to get to know you, and then work collaboratively with you to identify your goals in therapy. Treatment will be tailored to meet your individual needs to reach those goals, and to help you develop the tools and skills necessary to overcome your current life difficulties.
