Brenda Byrd
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a License Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I specialize in treating individuals and couples who are struggling to make changes in their lives. When working with couples I create a safe place where each person feels safe and heard. I assist the couple with conflict resolution, infidelity, and rebuilding trust. In my individual session I help my client realize that what they have experienced in life does not define who they are as a person. I believe in a holistic approach, treating the whole person spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I am also well versed in the issues of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, parenting, family conflict, infertility, maternal health, and substance use. We will develop a therapeutic relationship that is warm, empathetic and caring. I offer virtual services that allow clients more flexibility. My goal is for couples and individuals to transform themselves and their relationships. We will build upon what is working in the client's life. I will assist in creating goals to meet your unique concerns.
