Brett Welch
As a licensed professional counselor, former public school counselor of 15 years and mom of 2 kids, I have a wealth of experience working with families. My goal is to help parents and kids forge paths that lead to connected, happy and harmonious homes. I specialize in supporting parents, working with children, maternal mental health, co-parenting/parallel parenting, and helping families navigate emotional, educational and behavioral challenges that prevent them from living their best lives. In my office you will find an inclusive, inviting environment where you can be who you are just as you are and grow from there. Therapy is about exploring what holds you or your family back and creating a plan forward. Using a mix of modalities including play therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral approaches, attachment work and nervous system regulation strategies we can work through frustrating obstacles and seemingly unsolvable issues. My mantra is "everything is figureoutable." You don't have to exist in overwhelm. Let’s work together to create less hurt and more connected calm within yourself and/or with your kids.
