I'm happy you are here. I work with women and new parents who are struggling with the transition to pregnancy or parenting, and want to feel more enjoyment and confidence in their new identity and relationships. You've made it this far, which means that you want things to feel different. By working together, we can find ways to better balance your life. As a therapist, I meet you where you are. I view myself as a guide that walks with you and helps you navigate your journey. I use trauma-informed and culturally sensitive interventions. I use a combined DBT, CBT, and ACT as my treatment modalities. I typically meet with clients for 12-15 sessions, although I am flexible with the length of time. Clients typically feel mild improvement in the first few sessions. In our initial session, I meet with you to establish goals in order for me to understand what you are struggling with, and what you want to feel different in your life. I create my treatment plan from those goals.
