Bridget Suire
Greetings, My name is Bridget Suire. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 25 years experience in behavioral health. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients, including the LGBTQ+ community. Together we will explore the choices that clients can make to live their best life. The client is the driver, and I am the navigator. We will work together to improve your mental wellness and address anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Thoughts and feelings are connected. Feelings are not arbitrary. Usually your feelings are triggered because someone has crossed your boundaries, which can bring up stories that you tell yourself, such as “I am not enough” or “I must have done something wrong,” or “people always/never do this.” In therapy, we will explore your thoughts, feelings and stories to make healthier choices that serve you better. Change is stressful. People come to therapy because they want something or someone in their lives to change. The only power that we have is to change ourselves. Sometimes people come to therapy because they want to grow and learn how to cope with anxiety, depression, grief or trauma. We cannot change the past but we can make changes that will improve the future. We will explore many tools and skills that the client can choose or reject to grow and make changes.
