I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York. I have experience working with anxiety disorders, stress-related disorders, adjustment disorders, and trauma. I am currently the clinical director of a domestic violence program, and I specialize in domestic violence and trauma counseling. Trauma counseling has become my true passion because I have seen the growth, strength, and resilience in my clients through trauma work. My aim is to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be your most authentic and vulnerable self. My style is both collaborative and empowering. We can approach your goals as a team, and work towards achieving these goals. I will empower and support you throughout your personal journey. I emphasize self-awareness, constructive change, and positive thinking to promote growth and healing. My theoretical orientation used is cognitive behavior therapy. I create an open and honest environment. I want to know what is or what is not working for you. My goal is to create a space that feels like your own. You can expect feel heard, supported, challenged, and respected in our sessions. Your goals are my priority as a therapist. I will use empathy and unconditional positive regard to support you throughout your journey. We will celebrate all progress and continue to strive for more.
