I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I opened my own practice, Coffeehouse Counseling, just a few months ago. My approach is focused on the therapist and client connection by fostering trust and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for teens, women, and families. I have several years of experience in our city’s public school system counseling teens and families. I utilize many different therapeutic techniques depending on my client's particular struggle, personality, etc. I feel the most important aspect to impactful therapy is for the client to feel heard, accepted, and connected to their therapist. My approach is one that fosters a strong therapeutic alliance, fosters comfort, and creates an atmosphere of acceptance. My clients leave sessions feeling heard and cared for. Everyone needs someone to listen to them and to feel understood and that can help them move forward in a positive direction. My goal is for my clients to feel like there is hope after the first session and going forward to realize things are getting better.

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.
