I have been a counselor since 1994. I accept, in my private practice, only clients who I believe have the capacity for self-awareness, self-acceptance and resolving their own problems, all of which require hard work and dedication. My therapeutic beliefs involve three basic ideas. First, my focus is always on brief therapy that will allow you to face life’s challenges quickly and successfully with your newfound skills. Secondly, I always encourage you to look at positive changes you can make from this point forward, rather than focusing on the past. Finally, I believe that it is very important for you to recognize and focus on those issues in life that you have control over. Working together to connect your issues with my CBT therapeutic techniques you can hope to find contentment and confidence in your life. Remember that although therapy may be brief, you may return at anytime for “refresher” sessions on an as needed basis. .
