Life can be difficult, and sometimes we just need support. It’s my job to support you while you take the important steps to improve your life. I believe everyone has the right to feel safe and in control of their lives. We all need to feel connected, understood and validated. Your experiences and perspectives are an important part of who you are. Being able to reframe your problems can offer different solutions. My approach to therapy and 30 years of educational experiences allows me the opportunity to offer a variety of therapeutic skills and strategies to help meet client’s individual needs. I will be honored to support individuals ranging in ages from 12 and beyond on their journey to wellness. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Mindfulness Based Therapy in my practice. During our sessions we will weekly refer to the goals we collaborated on to track your progress. I will also help you learn how thoughts affect your emotions and behavior. We will work together to identify effective strategies to reduce symptoms of stress, anger, frustration, anxiety or depression.
