As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who grew up in San Jose, I strive to instill hope, healing, and authenticity all around us in the Bay Area. My passion has since been fueled by the successes and transformations of many affected by cultural identity, life transitions, grief, depression, anxiety, complex trauma, executive functioning, self-esteem, communication challenges, and attachment. My practice focuses on clients aged 15-25, including individual and family therapy, and parent-coaching. My approach prioritizes the importance of building a trusting therapeutic relationship, where clients feel heard, validated, honored, and supported as they explore their experiences and work through their struggles. I offer a client-centered approach to therapy, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help manage distress, process emotions, and transform negative thought patterns, with sensitivity and respect. During our initial sessions, we will collaborate with one another to explore the issues at hand and create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you feel confident in your therapeutic journey. Most of my clients see progress with their symptoms depending on the efforts put into their treatment where they can experience sustained improvement thereafter.
