Christopher Elliott
Chris Elliott is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University. He has over 25 years of experience in the field, with a focus on community-based mental health services. Chris formerly served as the Director of Social Service Programs for the St. Louis County Department of Public Health for 9 years, where he provided oversight and management for mental health programs in clinical and correctional settings. In this role he championed the creation of new programs and services to improve access and quality of care for individuals with mental health concerns. Prior to becoming Director of Social Services, Chris held positions as a Supervisor of Mental Health Services and a Clinical Social Worker within the St. Louis County Department of Public Health. He has also worked as a Group Facilitator for a domestic violence program, using the Duluth Model to promote non-violent male identity and address power dynamics in relationships. In addition to his professional experience, Elliott is active in the local community, serving on the Board of Directors for Alive and Well Communities, the Adult Advisory Board for the Behavioral Health Network, and the Provider Services Advisory Board for the Regional Health Commission.
