My name is Dr. Clifford Marsh, but please call me "Cliff." I am independently and clinically licensed to practice therapy in Virginia and South Carolina. I also have national board certification in Clinical Social Work through the American Board of Clinical Social Work Examiners. My educational credentials include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree with a Clinical Specialization. With over 20 years of experience providing therapy, I enjoy working with diverse client populations and have expert knowledge in applying effective, evidence-based modalities with individuals, families, and all respective relationship types. Most clients describe me as fun, friendly, empathetic, and easy to talk to. I am comfortable talking about any topic from a non-judgmental perspective and helping each client process and work through any circumstance. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
