Hi! I'm Dana, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I provide compassionate and effective anxiety therapy individuals teens and adults in the state of Oregon. I help clients who struggle with anxiety, shame, perfectionism, or a harsh inner critic to find greater peace, self-compassion and healthier boundaries and relationships. I specialize in working with college students and young professionals, maternal mental health, body image and disordered eating, life transitions, perfectionism and shame. My approach is integrated - I draw from theoretical orientations that are person-centered, humanistic and behavioral. I use Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and use IFS-informed parts work with clients. The practice of self-compassion is foundational to my work. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed and attachment-based perspective.
