I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) that brings an interactive and engaging approach to working with her clients. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Rehabilitation Services and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland- Baltimore. I specialize in treating trauma and other conditions that include Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques depending on my client’s needs. I integrate skills and knowledge from Evidenced Based therapeutic techniques into treatment with clients. I believe in the strength and resilience of my clients and implement techniques to offer an individualized approaches tailored to each client's needs and goals. I am a certified trauma therapist and certified binge eating and chronic dieting professional. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Mindfulness. I primarily work with adult survivors women with history's of trauma, unhealthy eating habits/relationships with food and young mother's navigating post-partum to support them on their journey of healing.
