I grew up in a small mountain town, and came out to my family when I was 16 years old. I pursued my degree in English, and graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in 2008. In 2010, I realized I was not achieving the goals I wanted, and applied to graduate school. In 2014, I graduated with my Master's in Clinical Counseling. I work from a narrative lens to assist clients in taking authorship with their life stories. I believe in being honest, direct, and also do so from a place of compassion. Clients can expect to be met where they are at in the moment, with an open minded person who is eager to help them explore the areas of their life they want improved. The first session will be spent learning about the client's concerns and ensuring that I can offer the most useful approaches to client's needs.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
