Dr. David Heard has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for the past 40 years. After completing his Ph.D. at the University of Maryland he trained at the Philadelphia Child Guidance with specialty training in child, adolescent, couples and family therapy. In 1979, Dr. Heard moved to New Mexico to begin his Psychology practice. He has worked with older adults in a Rehabilitation Hospital, providing assessment and treatment due to stroke, brain injury, auto accidents, and dementia, usually with co-morbid depression and anxiety. He is an avid dirt bike rider for 50 years and also rides a big street bike. He and his wife raised their children and then adopted five boys who needed a family.

If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
