I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy with a focus on helping people manage their substance use and an interest in offering an inclusive treatment to all BIPOC folx. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from NYU with a Master’s degree in social work. I have seven years of experience working in substance use treatment as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. My approach to therapy helps folx explore issues related to emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, confusion, indecision about career, substance misuse through treatment that is empathetic, inclusive, and analytically informed. I work from a non-judgemental stance since I understand how difficult it can be to express vulnerabilities to another. Psychotherapy should be accessible to everyone. I believe it should be inclusive, culturally sensitive, and be mindful about how difficult it can be to share one’s vulnerabilities with another. I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy that explores ways to make positive change in your life. We can work on behavioral changes but also a deeper exploration of the origins of what makes you do the things you do.
