Deanna Markesteyn
I am Deanna Markesteyn, CCTP LPCCS. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I graduated with my Master’s Degree from Slippery Rock University. My Master's degree focused on Substance Use Disorders. I incorporate my knowledge as a former massage therapist and a certified yoga instructor into my counseling approach. I've worked within the healing arts since 1990. My approach to therapy is to consider the whole person. With my diverse training and background, my therapeutic method targets the unhealthy symptoms you are struggling with today. You pick the tools that work best for you. You can live in the world with balance and peace! In our first counseling session we will get to know each other, you tell me your story. Then together we figure out what you want to change in your life. We develop a treatment plan that is driven by your goals. Every three months we review the treatment plan to make sure we are on the right track. After each counseling session you leave with hope, and the tools to help you reach your best self.
