Debra Early
Greetings. My name is Deb Early, LPC and I am currently offering individual, family and couples therapy through my private practice in Charlottesville, Virginia. I have worked as a therapist for 30 years with the University of Virginia, Fairfax County schools and with the DoD. Education: BS, James Madison University, Political Science, 1985 MA in Counseling, Western Maryland College. I offer a unique approach to her practice by merging client-focused and solution-oriented techniques. I provide a nurturing, supportive and thought provoking atmosphere to assist clients in enhancing their relationship skills. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth. Some of the modalities I incorporate in my therapy include enneagrams, imago therapy, INF and Gottman theory. My goal with each counseling session is to provide therapy "nuggets" that each of my clients can take home with them. Some of these take aways from therapy might include self discovery while identifying individual core needs or identifying past emotional triggers that disable good communication and positive connection with others. My overall goal as a therapist is to provide a solid navigational map for healthy relationships and personal growth.
