Denise Jelley
With a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University, I have been a practitioner for over 25 years. I'm trained in Reiki/Meditation and have a wealth of practical wisdom, life experience & professional mastery to draw upon. I have extensive experience working with women, couples, young adults & persons of varying sexual orientations. Specializations: personal growth, health & well-being, spirituality, life coaching & anxiety/depression often associated with life transitions & stressors. My clinical style is nurturing, and client centered with a strengths based humanistic foundation. I'm supportive while nourishing your sense of curiosity, mindfulness, and ability to embrace self-love and care in body, mind, and spirit. I will gently encourage work that may lead you out of your comfort zone, as I believe that is often where the growth takes place. “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”(Mary Oliver) Relationships are fundamental to our well-being & the most essential relationship is the one we have with ourselves. That’s where the work begins for us & for all other relationships to thrive. Likewise, our therapeutic relationship is fundamental to your journey. I welcome working together so that life will offer more joy, contentment and fulfillment on your journey.
