Sometimes your anxiety seems out of control with your heart racing in a state of panic. I’m an experienced therapist who can help you to live life with more ease and gain a greater understanding of yourself. You will learn tools to manage anxiety, promote relaxation and develop strategies to address unhelpful thoughts, emotions and behaviors. My approach to therapy is collaborative, based on what your ideal life would look like to you. I believe in a holistic focus integrating mind, body, and spirit. We will work together to come up with an individualized plan of goals that you want to achieve and plan ways to accomplish them. Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Guided Imagery are some treatment modalities that I tailor to fit your needs. Therapy can help you to feel more confident, with the ability to see and react to things differently. You will learn new coping skills and ways to calm your nervous system from the anxiety overload. You many gain greater awareness of what triggers repetitive thoughts, distressing emotions and behaviors that don't serve your best interests. You will explore connections about how past experiences influence your present enjoyment of life and learn how to remove blocks holding you back.
