Drea Cook
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nine years of experience in private practice. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University. My areas of specialization include identity issues, complex ptsd, and the treatment of anxiety and depression. I am committed to helping my clients navigate their personal challenges and achieve greater well-being. In my therapy practice, I combine Internal Family Systems (IFS) with Attachment Theory principles. I focus on understanding and healing the internal "parts" shaped by early attachments, addressing trauma, relationship issues, and emotional dysregulation. This approach fosters self-awareness and inner harmony, empowering clients to lead fulfilling lives. Clients can expect to leave sessions with me feeling understood and empowered. My goal is to help individuals recognize and reconcile their internal "parts," leading to greater self-awareness and emotional regulation. I strive to create a nurturing environment where clients can safely explore their feelings and experiences. Together, we work towards resolving deep-seated conflicts and improving interpersonal relationships, enabling clients to achieve personal growth and a more balanced life.
