Hello, I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), where I gained a strong foundation in psychiatric and mental health care. My education and clinical training have equipped me with the skills to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan, addressing various mental health needs. I provide psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management as well as psychotherapy on as-needed basis. My approach to mental health care is holistic, patient-centered, and collaborative. I believe in building trusting relationships with my patients, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey. Whether it’s through medication management, psychotherapy, or community resources, I strive to create personalized treatment plans that align with each individual’s goals and needs. As someone deeply connected to Alaska, I have a profound understanding of the unique challenges and strengths of the Native population in this region. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care that respects and incorporates our diversified population's values, traditions, and perspectives. My goal is to make a meaningful difference in my patients' lives and contribute to the overall well-being of the communities I serve. Thank you for reading my self-introduction, and I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your path to wellness.
