Dylan Quigley
I graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts and major in Psychology. I then moved out to Colorado to attend the University of Denver and got my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Ever since I have been working in the mental health field with dual-diagnosis and primary mental health clients. My areas of expertise are in Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis, Risk Assessment, Personality Disorders, Men’s Issues, Family Struggles, Trauma, and Substance Abuse. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help you approach and achieve your goals. Furthermore, I like to use humor, challenging questions, a direct approach, and a lighthearted touch. My philosophy is to get to the point of helping you while having fun doing it. I love to be present while my clients find new ways to navigate their life and change their experiences. As your therapist, it is my goal to see you become a better version of yourself. It is my belief that the role of therapy is to help you to achieve the life you want. I like to use a two-pronged approach to therapy, starting with immediate solution focused brief interventions including coping skills. Then I like to build on the environment and connection already established and dive into the root causes for these things.
