Hello, my name is Elexus, I have been in the mental health field for about 8 years working with adolescents, individuals, and couples. I am a certified Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and obtained my Master’s from Texas Wesleyan University. I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health in BIPOC communities. specialize in working with individuals who are feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns. I use a collaborative approach that focuses on how your childhood, past, and environment influence our current behavior. Often times we develop unhealthy patterns to help us cope with past traumas and difficulties situations. In our sessions, I will create a non-judgmental and warm environment, it is my hope to create a space in which clients can authentically be themselves.

The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
