I am a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of experience in the mental health field. I obtained my Bachelors in Neuroscience from Colorado College and my Masters in Psychiatric Nursing from University of Southern Maine. I also attended a residency through VA Boston and a fellowship through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. I interweave traditional and functional psychiatry to help my clients achieve symptom relief and optimal mental wellness. I believe that individuals need to feel good about their mental health treatment. I aim to equip my clients with the knowledge they need to make empowered decisions about their mental health. I see medication not as a destination but a tool to help my clients gain traction on their journey to optimal mental wellness. My goals are to expand resilience, uproot causes where possible, and guide value-driven life choices to help elevate my clients to their fullest potential. During our initial sessions, I seek to understand you and your needs, values and preferences for treatment. Based on these elements, together we form a treatment plan that we implement, adjust and expand in a systematic and collaborative way until we find the recipe that works for you. Modalities include psychiatric medication, supplementation, lab testing, nutrition, mindfulness, somatic therapy, sleep coaching, lifestyle medicine and supportive psychotherapy.
