Erica Paschel
My name is Erica Paschel and I am from St. Louis, MO. I teach Black teen boys and girls how to connect with their body through movement. Therapy looks different for many, and I understand that the process includes more than just "finding the words" to say. Let's collaborate to build a warm therapeutic relationship, using an expressive arts approach that advocates to heal, finding your voice through creative outlets. I am licensed and specialize in complex trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, stress and anxiety, and academic concerns. My focus is supporting you in learning how to regulate your nervous system, heal, and process through unresolved trauma. My work is informed by a holistic & integrative approach using expressive techniques. I practice nontraditional therapy & Chakra alignment. My approach is also shaped from a creative therapeutic lens that incorporates body techniques such as movement & expression (I have over 10 years of experience in dance, art, teaching, mentorship, and more). My clients can expect to not be judged outside of a clinical lens and have several outlets provided for them to creatively express and share their thoughts and presenting issues. I will share my background and client rights. There is no pressure to immediately know what to say. We will work together to make the space safe and brave.
